Speaking With One Voice
The Bucks County Women’s Advocacy Coalition is a non-partisan coalition of more than 100 individual and 36 organization partners that serve women and girls. We empower, educate and advocate together to promote gender equality and economic self-sufficiency for all.
Organized in 2008 as an advocacy and education project of the Bucks County Women’s Fund, and a strategic alliance of A Woman’s Place, the Coalition is focused on achieving economic self-sufficiency for all through advocacy work in areas of child care, health care, housing, transportation, job and workforce development; domestic violence and addiction issues affect all areas of concern.
The Pennsylvania House’s “Beyond Poverty” report addresses critical barriers to economic security for PA women and families. Read the joint statement issued by the Bucks County Women’s Advocacy Coalition and Women’s Way.
